Annie Clark, better known by her pseudonym St. Vincent, is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter born in Oklahoma—raised in Texas. She went to
Berklee, where she released her first EP, "Ratsliveonnoevilstar." She dropped out three years later and soon after joined
the Polyphonic Spree. After being with the Spree for two years, she left and joined Sufjan Stevens' touring band. While touring with Sufjan, she released her second EP, "Paris is Burning." She later split from Sufjan's tourinf band and released her debut album, "Marry Me" in 2007—much to critical acclaim. In 2009, she released her Disney-esque sophomore album, "Actor." In 2011, she released her third studio album, "Strange Mercy." She worked with Talking Heads frontman
David Byrne to release "Love This Giant" in 2012.
